About Webb

Webb Lin started his professional career as a civil engineer. He redefined himself after four years by entering into the counselling industry which he has worked in since 2001. He is now a registered psychologist who has obtained training and experience in a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gestalt Therapy. He also trained in mindfulness body-oriented therapies such as Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) and Guided Respiration Mindfulness Therapy (GRMT) and integrates both dialogical and body-oriented processes to help provide a more experiential and holistic approach to client wellness.

Webb works with adult individuals and couples who have relational, mental health, trauma-impacted, and behavioural difficulties. He uses a warm and engaging approach in collaborating with clients to achieve the planned or desired outcomes. Webb is bilingual in English and Mandarin and is highly committed to ongoing professional development in evidence-based practices to help clients achieve the psychological wellness they desire.

Prior to setting up his private practice at The Work Well Health Centre, Webb worked in a variety of counselling, clinical supervision and teaching roles for many organisations such as Lifeline, Spiritus-Kinections, Australian Catholic University, and Relationships Australia.
